For the love of Stitching!
My grandmother is one of my biggest rolemodels - for her adventurous spirit, creative soul and wonder at everything in the world. I remember being a little girl and visiting my great-grandmother with her and how they showed me how to cross stitch.
Its not something I ever did again, but the memory stayed. Fast forward a few years and I've managed to follow in my grandmother's footsteps in more ways than one - I spent over 10 years as a professional photographer, then became an artist...and then I visited my granny and bought a cross stitch kit...
The rest is history. Both photography and art became a job...but cross stitch is my much-loved-quiet-moment hobby. So much so that I started making my own patterns - most of these are from images I create. As I live in Africa and am also a wildlife artist, you'll find a lot of patterns inspired by the love of nature.
